This naturally bright & colorful specimen is a fragment of a full ammolite fossil. Stabilizing and polishing these specimens is typical from this source. This single sided piece has a beautiful color gradient that has beautiful flowing lines through it. Bright orange, reds, and green dominate the piece, but it does have some blue out towards the edges. It's very attractive! I acquired this piece in September of 2022 during my trip to the ammolite mines in Canada. An outstanding specimen from the locality.
